What Is Group ABA Therapy?

Group ABA therapy combines individualized ABA programming with natural opportunities to learn alongside peers. Children can practice skills such as communication, cooperation, social interaction, and participation while receiving support from trained therapists in a structured group setting.

What Can Group ABA Therapy Help With?

Social Interaction

Children have opportunities to practice interacting with peers, responding to others, initiating interactions, and participating in shared activities.

Communication

building blocks and play

Groups provide natural opportunities to practice functional communication, conversation, requesting, responding, and expressing needs and ideas.

Cooperation & Turn-Taking

Children learn to participate in shared activities, follow group expectations, take turns, share materials, and cooperate with peers.

Play & Friendship Skills

Children can develop age-appropriate play skills while learning how to initiate play, join activities, maintain interactions, and build positive peer relationships.

School Readiness

Group programs can help children practice skills that support successful participation in classroom environments, including following directions, transitioning, attending, and participating in group activities.

Confidence & Independence

Children are supported in becoming more comfortable participating with others while developing greater independence in group settings.

Individualized Support in a Group Setting

Although children participate in a group, programming remains individualized to each child's strengths, needs, and goals. Our low instructor-to-child ratios allow children to receive individualized support while benefiting from natural opportunities to practice skills with their peers.
